In this video, I unbox a budget-friendly alternative to the Godox LC500R RGB Light Stick—the Simpex LS500R, available for under ₹7000. We dive deep into a comparison between the Godox LC500R and the Simpex LS500R, focusing on three key aspects:

LEDs Light Output Quality and Numbers: How does the Simpex LS500R stack up against the Godox LC500R in terms of LED quality and quantity?

Driver and Electronics: Interestingly, the Simpex model uses the same driver circuit as the Godox LC500R, and the Godox remote works perfectly with it too.

Material Quality: While the Simpex LS500R looks premium on the outside, the teardown reveals a different story. Inside, the material quality is lacking, with broken and damaged screw holes. However, it features the same circuit board as Godox, four 18650 Li-ion cells (2.6 Ah each in a 7.2V configuration), 220 RGB LEDs, and numerous CCT LEDs.
